What Kaimana Is...
The Kaimana Klassik is an annual invitational UPA-sanctioned ultimate Frisbee tournament held on Oahu, Hawaii on Presidents Day weekend, followed by an open-to-all Hat-Draw tournament the following weekend on a neighbor Island.This KK is our tenth annual.

Waimanalo Polo Fields, Honolulu, Hawaii (same place as last year),February 15 and 16, 1997 (Presidents Day is Feb 17, the Hat-Draw is the following weekend)

The Oahu chapter of the Hawaii Ultimate Players Association (HULA) sponsors the KK. The KK tournament staff consists of

Player Fees...
The fee is $95 per player if
post-marked before Jan 10, else $115 if postmarked before Feb 5;
$125 after that. The fee for Non-Players who want to participate
in all the other events (meals/camping/entertainment/etc.) is $55
--$65 after Jan 10.

AlohaSpirit/Mixed Plate Pick-Up Teams...
Email Danny Hayes to inquire about the Aloha Spirit Menz pick-up team. He wants a mixed-bag -- no more than two players from one team (i.e. No more than two players who are used to playing with each other).Email Laura Lott to inquire about the Mixed Plate Womenz pick-up team. Mixed Plate is first-come first-serve based on when your player fee arrives.
Pre-tournament night out. Not an organized event, just a suggested meeting place for early arrivals: Meet at Gordon Biersch at Aloha Tower Market Place in downtown Honolulu, where Bishop Street meets Ala Moana Blvd. Ask anyone, they'll point the way to "Aloha Tower".
